"R Value" Thermal Solutions
With the advent of new legislative changes to the Building code of Australia [BCA], its becoming increasingly difficult to rate roof, wall, and floor systems for their individual "R Value". Similarly, some residential and commercial applications utilise unusual wall or roof systems. With these systems it is sometimes difficult to establish the "Total R Value" required Basix or BCA requirements and in particular Section J.
We’re able to assist in these areas by providing solutions to Section J as well solutions to uncommon building systems in residential and commercial applications. Our Thermal Solution service also provides the additional benefit of independent verification of prescribed solutions.
We’ll prescribe a solution which can be followed through the process of construction until completion. We will give advice and liaise with project managers and contractors on site to ensure installation is carried out correctly, we’ll record the process through the process of construction and at completion provide contractors with verification of installed system.
